Virtual Grid Paper is a fast, precise online graph paper drawing tool designed for creating geometric diagrams, vectors, technical sketches, and mathematical drawings directly in your browser without requiring installation or accounts.
Interface Overview
The Virtual Grid Paper workspace consists of five core areas:
Top Toolbar
Manages document title, active tool indicator, Undo/Redo history, Save, Export (PNG/SVG/JSON), and Settings.
Left Toolbar
Houses all 13 drawing tools. Hover over any tool icon to view its keyboard shortcut.
Canvas Workspace
Infinite graph paper surface with customizable grid spacing, coordinate axes, and live measurements.
Right Settings Panel
Four tabs (Object, Grid, View, Units) for configuring stroke width, color, grid intervals, zoom, and scale units.

Line Tool
LDraw infinite lines extending indefinitely in both directions through two points.
- 1.Select the Line tool or press L.
- 2.Click on the canvas to place the reference origin point.
- 3.Move your cursor to preview line angle and length.
- 4.Click a second time to lock the second point.
Circle Tool
CDraw circles defined by a center point and radius.
- 1.Select the Circle tool or press C.
- 2.Click on the canvas to set the circle center.
- 3.Drag outward to adjust radius size.
- 4.Click to complete the circle.
Vector Tool
—Draw directional vectors featuring magnitude (|v|) and direction angle (θ).
- 1.Select the Vector tool.
- 2.Click the vector origin point.
- 3.Drag to set arrowhead direction and magnitude.
- 4.Click to complete.
Rectangle Tool
RDraw precise axis-aligned rectangles with live width and height dimensions.
- 1.Select the Rectangle tool or press R.
- 2.Click and drag diagonally to set rectangle width and height.
- 3.Release the mouse button to create the rectangle.

Grid & Snapping
Grid customization, snapping rules, and live measurements.
Grid System
Virtual Grid Paper features minor grid lines (20px default) and major grid lines (every 5th line = 100px) with customizable coordinate axes.
Snap to Grid
When Snap is enabled, drawing endpoints lock to grid intersections and vertex points.
